These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), together with the Sisterhood Social Co. Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”), govern your use of Sisterhood Social Co.’s website, ticketing platforms, event pages, retreat registration pages, email and SMS communications, and community platforms (collectively, the “Website”), your purchase of tickets or registrations for Sisterhood Social Co. events, retreats, workshops, festivals, or experiences (collectively, “Events”), and your attendance or participation in such Events.
By purchasing a ticket, registering for an Event, or participating in any Sisterhood Social Co. experience, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
IMPORTANT WAIVER NOTICE
ALL EVENT AND RETREAT PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN SISTERHOOD SOCIAL CO.’S WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (“WAIVER”).
You will not be permitted to attend or participate in any Event, retreat, workshop, or experience unless the Waiver is completed and signed. If you are unwilling or unable to sign the Waiver, please do not purchase a ticket or register for an Event.
1. Ticket & Registration Purchase and Confirmation
Sisterhood Social Co. acts as the event organizer and/or ticketing facilitator for its Events. Tickets or registrations may be purchased through the Website or approved third-party platforms.
A purchase or registration is considered complete only when payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email has been sent to the email address provided at checkout. Event details including date, time, location, and any relevant instructions will be included in the confirmation or follow-up communications.
It is your responsibility to ensure your contact information is accurate and to review all event communications.
2. No Refunds / Transfers / Resale
Unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific Event:
All ticket and registration sales are final and non-refundable
Tickets and registrations are not redeemable for cash
Tickets may not be resold or transferred without written permission from Sisterhood Social Co.
Merchandise purchases (if applicable) are non-refundable
Sisterhood Social Co. reserves the right to cancel or revoke tickets or registrations if these Terms are violated.
3. Canceled, Postponed, Rescheduled, or Moved Events
Sisterhood Social Co. reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or relocate any Event due to circumstances including but not limited to weather, facilitator availability, venue issues, safety concerns, or events beyond our control.
If an Event is canceled, a refund or credit may be issued at our discretion
If an Event is postponed, rescheduled, or relocated, your ticket or registration will remain valid for the new date, time, or location
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled Event, Sisterhood Social Co. may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund or credit toward a future Event
In no event will Sisterhood Social Co. be responsible for travel expenses, lodging, childcare, lost wages, or other costs incurred by attendees.
4. Retreat-Specific Acknowledgements
By registering for any day retreat, weekend retreat, or multi-day experience, you acknowledge that:
Retreat schedules, facilitators, programming, and amenities may change
Participation may involve physical movement, mindfulness practices, group activities, or emotional reflection
You are responsible for assessing your own physical, emotional, and mental readiness
Sisterhood Social Co. does not provide medical, therapeutic, or mental health treatment
5. No Guarantee of Gifts, Activations, or Amenities
Free gifts, brand activations, complimentary products, or sponsor offerings are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Sisterhood Social Co. reserves the right to modify or remove offerings at any time.
6. Event Participation & Code of Conduct
You agree to follow all instructions, rules, and guidelines provided by Sisterhood Social Co., event staff, facilitators, volunteers, and venue personnel.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant—without refund—if behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the values of Sisterhood Social Co., including but not limited to harassment, intoxication, or inappropriate conduct.
7. Media Release & Photography
By attending an Event, you grant Sisterhood Social Co. permission to capture and use photographs, video, and audio recordings for marketing, promotional, educational, and archival purposes, without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to notify event staff.
8. Website Ownership & Intellectual Property
All Website content, branding, event materials, graphics, photography, video, copy, and intellectual property are owned exclusively by Sisterhood Social Co. or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable, personal license to access the Website for lawful, non-commercial purposes only.
9. Website Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or purchase tickets
Attempt to breach Website security or access private data
Use the Website for unlawful or competitive purposes
Submit false or misleading information
Interfere with Website functionality or transactions
10. Disclaimers
The Website and all Events are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Sisterhood Social Co. makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Participation in Events is voluntary and at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sisterhood Social Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or personal injury.
If liability is found, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Event or $100, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sisterhood Social Co., its directors, officers, volunteers, contractors, partners, sponsors, and venues from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your participation or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination & Reservation of Rights
Sisterhood Social Co. reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Website or Events at any time, with or without notice, if these Terms are violated.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution of disputes prior to initiating legal action.
15. Prevailing Terms
Any claims arising from participation in an Event shall be governed primarily by the Waiver. In the event of conflict, the Waiver shall control.
16. Modifications to Terms
Sisterhood Social Co. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website or participation in Events constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
